Our 2nd Week in Wonderland 2019!

Wow! What an awesome week of learning in Room #102! We worked on building good Reading habits. We shared our Writing folders and started writing about small moments. Partner Reading allowed the students to get to know each other and Math Centers were "WONDER"-ful!

"WONDER"-ful First Grade! 2019

 Welcome Back! Our first week of school was Wonderful! The students did a great job learning our rituals and routines!
Looking forward to "going down the rabbit hole" in 2019! 

The Life Cycle of a Butterfly!

 We have a "J" shape caterpillar and a chrysalis! So exciting!

 The kids loved learning about classifying soils and earthworms!

 How long is your earthworm? Do earthworms prefer damp or dry places? Check out the different types of soil. Earthworms are important to soil.

Principal Phillips stopped by to read our class a great story about not giving up when something is difficult for you to do. Keep trying! The students loved the story
Baabwaa & Wooliam and enjoyed having Principal Phillips visit our classroom!

Our week ended with an Awesome dance party to celebrate Reading!
