How is the weather in your neighborhood? Chets Creek had a special visit from Tim Deegan, the Chief Meteorologist at First Coast News, providing the weather forecasts on the 5:00pm, 5:30pm, 6:00pm and 11:00pm weekday newscasts. Mr. Deegan discussed how he reads and records the weather. What to do in a Lighting storm. How he collects his data, and what tools he might use. Mr. Deegan also shared a story about being able to chase a hurricane and ride in the eye of the storm. Wow! Exciting job of a Meteorologist. Thank you Mr. Deegan for visiting our school!
